Hey guys! My name is Lauren Diprete and I am currently a freshman at NC State. I am majoring in Political Science, with a concentration in Law and Justice. After college, I plan on attending law school, in hopes to pursue a career as a lawyer. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina, where I have lived my entire life. I have two brothers, Matthew and Jonathan. Matthew is a Junior at UNCC and Jonathan is a Freshman in highschool. I also have a dog named Sadie. She is a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. I have always loved animals; I am even in the Companion Animal Club here at NC State. In highschool, I played three sports-lacrosse, field hockey, and I swam. Lacrosse was my favorite sport to play, and I plan on joining the club lacrosse team at NCSU. I love to travel and plan to visit many different countries in the future. I have only been out of the country once; I visited Italy in 2016. Italy was my favorite place I have been to and I hope to live there one day. Studying abroad is definitely something that interests me. I would most likely stay somewhere in Italy or Prague for a semester, as I love the cultures and NCSU has a good program for my major in both places. I love nature and love to do adventurous activities, such as hiking, rock climbing, or camping. In my free time, I like to hangout with friends, listen to music, and do my makeup.
